Help to survive 2500 dogs, cats, horses, bears and other wild animals in Moscow, . All these animals are being kept in shelters at present, but their future fate is dreary, since the shelters lost their sponsors over the Crisis. Because of the grave financial situation Fund “BIM” appeals to organizations and individuals who are not disinterested to the condition of homeless animals. The Fund is prepared to give away for keeping any of its five Shelters or accept financial aid on the regular basis. The Fund has tried to receive aid from the Russian Government but so far had no response. Please help our animals to survive, they want so much to live!

All animals that are at the Fund were thrown out on City’s streets. To keep 2500 animals it is monthly needed: 21 ton of fodder for dogs, 2 ton of cereals, 16 ton of meat or meat products, 1,5 ton of vegetables, 1 ton of fish. On medicine for medical treatment and operations and medical equipment maintenance it is needed around 200 000 rubles. The Staff of the Fund: 50 persons look after the animals, 18 persons – the staff of veterinary service, including personal of the animal’s hospital in the Shelter “BIM-Hoteichi”. Besides all mentioned above expenses there is payment for electricity, disposal of garbage (14 000 rubles monthly) and delivery of drinking water (36 000 rubles monthly) to two of the five Shelters.
